Light heded...
Finally my head lamp from Deal Extreme dropped down in my mailbox! 555:- SEK and approx. 2 weeks delivery time directly from Hong Kong!
Quite small package, wasn't sure it was the headlight until I opened the packet.
Pretty much all you need, battery, charger, head band+lamp holder, rubber bands for mounting and the actual lamp.
There was enough power in the batteries to do try the lamp, it's bright!
Can't wait to get better so I can go out at try this little gem! =)

Nikon News...
So it's finally here, the Nikon D7000, seems to have all the goodies I miss on my D90:

Dual memory card slots, Intervalometer, 100% coverage view finder, Magnesium body, AF-fine tune, Metering, Proper mirror lock-up, 1/8000sec shutter speed, 14-bit NEF, Up to 9 "non-CPU" lenses can be registered for light metering, Virtual horizon, and so on! :)
Have to ditch the battery grip, new model for D7000 same goes for the batteries, no biggie.

"Lost Viking"
Sorry, can't keep from posting this. There is a "Easter Egg" in Startcraft 2, when getting access to the cantina on Jim Raynor's ship, the Hyperion, one can play a arcade game called the "Lost Viking"!
Only played a few levels but it's actually a decent old school kind of "shoot 'em up" game, thank you Blizzard! :)

"Hell, it's about time!"
It's finally here!
Starcraft 2 has landed! And if the Swedish postal service gets it's thumbs out of it's a** I might have it in the mailbox today...
If they ever make a full length movie in the same class as the game trailer I would stand in line at the cinema! =)

Let me in.
Haven't even seen the Swedish movie or even read the book yet and here is the trailer of the U.S. version (of Låt den rätte komma in(Let the right one in)):
Apparently it's the same director who directed Cloverfield. I like the track in the trailer, by a group named Placebo. (Had to check them out on Spotify...)

Defence Grid
Just bought a game from Steam, Defence Grid - The Awakening. Purchasing online is way too easy, the price is low enough to make you think it's worth it and after giving them your credit card information you just download the game to your PC, there is even a function to make a backup of the game install-files for later.
I admit I downloaded a illegal copy on Internet earlier but I think the game was good enough to pay for, so who says that pirating games don't generate money?! ;)
Now I noticed there is a demo version available to download from Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/18510/
Stem powered games is the wave of the future! Won't write anything more now, have to play some more...

Defense Grid: The Awakening (PC) - video 1 (HD) from Hidden Path Entertainment on Vimeo.
Coming early December 2008 for the PC, Defense Grid: The Awakening is a unique spin on tower defense gameplay that will appeal to players of all skill levels. A horde of enemies is invading, and it's up to the player to stop them by strategically building fortification towers around their base. Beautiful environments, spectacular effects, and a dynamic, engaging soundtrack bring the world to life. The controls are intuitive and the gameplay is deep - the special attacks and properties of each tower work together to provide many ways to succeed.

The Catalogue has landed!
Finally after several attempts UPS managed on Monday deliver my packet containing The Catalogue by Kraftwerk + bonus T-shirt and a extra T-shirt on the "side". :)
The agony to watch the incompetence displayed by UPS was unbearable, specially since the first delivery attempt was done on Thursday and they claimed that my address was not found!?!
Both called and mailed UPS a new delivery address and my mobile phone number and still on Friday they tried to deliver to the first address and failed again! They didn't even give me a call!
So I had to wait the whole weekend, time I could have used to listen to the CD:s, before I got my hands on the packet! Unfortunately I have not had the time to listen to the all the CD:s yet but the ones I have listened too sounds fantastic! well spent money! =)
The package is the most elaborate one I ever had the fortune to handle when it comes to CD-boxes and the booklets are pure art! Everything is crafted with German precision, as can be seen on the video. Took a few attempts before I got the hang of how to get the CD out of the pocket! After that it was a breeze.
Unpacking procedure:
The Catalogue, by K R A F T W E R K.
The package contains digitally remastered versions of:
1 - Autobahn
2 - Radioactivity
3 - Trans Europe Express
4 - The Man Machine
5 - Computer World
6 - Techno pop
7 - The Mix
8 - Tour de France
The verdict? Sehr gut!

Finally!
This is a what I have been waiting for, many years ago I wondered why nobody had made a scale with wireless connection before, or a scale that connects to a logging device.
Well, there has been scales that do log the weight but they were not really aimed at the consumer market, more towards medical sector and they are expensive! Apparently this one costs about 1500:- Sek, shipping excluded...

Finally!
Got the chance to play around with the Nokia E52 a few minutes, just made me want it even more despite some reports about sudden reboots and poor voice quality.
Compared to my current phone Nokia N73. The build quality feels solid!

Seems to be a ton of setting for every function and everything ran smooth and quick!
