Now that I got around and bought a new monitor the next step is to try get somewhat calibrated. I'm at the moment using a software based calibration called Calibrize and it sure makes it easier but I'm thinking about taking it to the next level with a hardware calibrator.
I think I will go with the ColorVision Spyder 2 Express, since I'm just a happy photo enthusiast I can't justify the price for the more advanced ones. Spyder 2 Express costs around $100 and that's still almost too much. Have to investigate if I can manage to get someone intressted in co-ownership and slice the price in half! =)

I'm sure you can fool Jesper into such an adventure, he was complaining you made him buy a lot of expensive gear just this morning. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou should be able to rent stuff like that, or pick one up used at eBay or something.
Yes, I forced him to buy all that photo stuff! =)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a plan, both fooling Jesper to share the cost and look for a used item.
